Apparently the AFL makes $40-$50M a year from gambling sponsorship. And then in February it declared an operating SURPLUS of $67.9M. I say hand back the $50M, make a profit of $17.9M (not bad for a tax-free not-for-profit!) and be done with it.

Perry’s draft is really the only defense of his run so far and luckily for him, it is also the most important part of the rebuild. I don’t think his 2025 draft was good enough to excuse all the misses, but if he nails the draft this year he will be around for a long time.
