The BBC has given more attention to my efforts to identify an unusual small vessel off the coast of my constituency in one morning than the thousands and thousands of unvetted foreign men pouring across our border in weeks. Perhaps if more MPs showed some passion, then we wouldn't have small boat illegal migrants committing such heinous crimes against the British people on a daily basis. I do not want illegal migrants in my constituency. My constituents do not want illegal migrants in our community. Many complaints were raised by constituents, it was investigated. I stated IF they were illegal migrants, they should be deported. Too sodding right. I make no apologies whatsoever for raising the alarm with the coastguard/police, even if this time it wasn't required. I would do so again. Let's not only deport every single illegal migrant, let's stop them from setting foot on British soil in the first place.

Please retweet, CONVICTED | Arron Thompson, 38, from #Anfield, #Liverpool #UK – left his dog to starve to death in an abandoned property- AVOIDS JAIL‼️ The Bulldog, named Wilson, was left without food or water in Thompson’s former home in the #Tuebrook area of Liverpool. Thompson “took no responsibility” for the dog’s death and claimed a friend had been going in to look after him. Wilson’s bloated body was discovered in the property in Grange Street, Tuebrook, in November 2023 by a housing association worker. The body, which was decomposing and covered in fleas, had been wrapped in a blanket and placed in a box in the lounge. RSPCA Inspector Nadine Pengilly tracked Thompson down on January 26, 2024. Thompson confirmed in a phone call from the inspector that Wilson was his dog. The inspector said Thompson told her that he worked away from home for three to four months at a time and “had a friend looking after Wilson”. A vet said in her expert report: “Wilson’s body had slowly shut down and although in the absence of a post-mortem it is impossible to know the cause of death, being abandoned with no access to food or water is likely to have caused or contributed to his death. “In this case I can’t be sure if water was provided or if food was provided intermittently, but it is likely the dog didn’t have any food or water for a minimum of two weeks and probably likely longer.” Thompson, a business owner with six active companies in the fields of transportation, recruitment and hot tub rental listed at Companies House, failed to attend the court hearing and was convicted in his absence. Please retweet, CONVICTED | Nicola Owens, 34, from #Childwall, #Liverpool #UK L25 – starved her two pet dogs to death‼️ - AVOIDS JAIL 😡😡😡 Mother-of-one Owens was prosecuted by the RSPCA after the animal charity found an elderly male Staffie called Baxter and a young female French bulldog called Sparkles dead at her property. Owens pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to the dogs by failing to provide adequate nutrition for their needs between 30 September and 18 November 2023. The court heard how Owens called the RSPCA’s National Control Centre on 18 November 2023 saying she’d found the bodies of the dogs in the kitchen after she returned home from the school run and wanted help to remove them. RSPCA Inspector Joanne McDonald, who went to the defendant’s property, said in a statement to the court that members of the public had been concerned that Owens was leaving her dogs unsupervised for days. The inspector said, “The house was in complete darkness and I didn’t think it would be possible for someone to have been living at the address without any electricity. The defendant led me into the kitchen where both dogs’ bodies were. “Baxter had been placed on top of Sparkles and a towel had been placed over them both. The floor was wet and I could see faeces trampled into the floor. The kitchen smelt strongly of ammonia and it looked like the dogs had been frequently urinating. “There were a few bowls down on the floor but no food and I could see and feel that both dogs were very thin with both of their ribs, hips and hindquarters easily visible.” Owens told the inspector she’d had no concerns about Sparkles, but said Baxter had previously been “walking funny”. Both the dogs, she said, were dead when she returned to her house. A vet’s report said Baxter weighed only 9.7kg (21.4lb) and scored one out of nine on a body condition score, where five is an ideal rating. There was plastic in his stomach which suggested he ingested because he was so hungry. Sparkles also scored one out of nine on the body condition score and weighed just 4.4kg (9.7lb). A post-mortem for Baxter showed he had died from starvation and ingestion of foreign materials which had caused stomach ulcers, with Cushing’s disease, a hormone condition, possibly a contributory factor. Sparkles’ post-mortem concluded she died as a result of starvation, with the vet saying that both dogs were starved for at least several days. Speaking after the sentencing, Inspector McDonald said, “These poor dogs were left unattended for such a time at this property without food that they ultimately starved to death. “The defendant made no provision for any food to be left for her dogs while she was away or for anyone to check up on them.” Sentencing | 12-month community order with 20 days of ‘rehabilitation’; fined £80 and told to pay a victim surcharge of £114. Please wish your boy Lollipop well in his recovery ❤️‍🩹 He’s feeling a little sorry for himself but has been a very brave little soldier 🐶❤️‍🩹 Earlier this week Lollipop needed an operation to remove his tail. As you know Lollipop loves nothing more than to run free, and unfortunately that means occasionally he scuffs his tail. We have managed this successfully all this time, but this summer he started holding his tail differently and it resulted in a nasty scuff which got infected. The vets advised it was in his best interests to amputate, especially as it would only happen again. He was incredibly brave and wore his bow tie to the vets making him the most dapper dog in there. He was back with us the same day and is now on rest until he fully recovers. His operation went very well and everything was looking good on his first check up. Caring for disabled dogs is not without its challenges and it is a balance between trying to protect them and giving them freedom they crave and allowing them to enjoy life. Lolli has always loved to run free on soft grass and in a few weeks he'll be back to flying around the place. Special thanks to his Auntie Maggie for taking him to the vets which helped him feel safe. And the biggest thank you to his special sponsors, we were able to cover the operation which cost £1,780 with the sponsor pot we have put by for him.
