This is crisis point and I simply cannot sustain this. I am absolutely sick of having to hassle people for funds for dogs, day in and day out... I am not a rescue. The dogs are not physically with me, however they have no one else to ensure their safety pending rescue spaces becoming available. I know everyone is struggling. I am too. But the fact is, that so many people want to see dogs saved /safe and yet seem to have no idea of what is involved in trying to achieve that outcome. Those of us in rescue are burnt out trying. Kennel costs, legal costs, assessment costs all need funding.... Not to mention the permanently having to reply to messages, calls, emails etc... And fitting that in around work too. It is 24/7 and it's getting worse instead of better. I now have 4 extremely urgent funding situations needing help and I am quite literally begging you all to pls share and even send over £1...bcos all of those £1 donations add up... And I'm sure you won't miss £1 but it can be the difference between keeping a dog safe and putting to sleep that dog. I need to clear around £3000 for my Scottish kennel bill for two dogs ( 1 a victim of sexual abuse, removed by Police Scotland and currently under assessment) and the other sweet boy lost his owner to suicide, he is also under ongoing assessment. Their bills are £15 per night per dog. I'm now owe for May, June and July.. Soon August too!!! Plus a residual balance for a previous dog, also sexual abuse victim removed from home by Police Scotland in same case as the other sweet boy. He is now homed thanks to Stef Gallagher Robb and the amazing team at The Underheugh Ark Rescue but I have £276.68 still to clear his bill. I have 2 dogs in England in long term emergency boarding awaiting rehabilitation placements with our lovely friend Charlene McQuoid-Guess The Hayloft Pet Services . They need £920. I pay £10 per night per dog for them. I'm owe for June ( just for 1 dog as the other is paid), July for both and soon August. I need £1600 by the end of the month for type assessments ( well £1440 as of today) for 2 beautiful pound dogs, saved by their amazing pound pullers Kim Taylor and Kelly-Joy Sherwood and now deemed type by some ridiculous set of circumstances through Humberside Police !!! And to top it all, I now need to raise £350 for our amazing Scottish Solicitor who is acting free of charge again, to help a family facing eviction with their XL Bully dog. I have limited time to keep sharing their appeal posts as I'm also in the background trying to respond to the miriad of messages, all day and night for advice and help, trying to find rescue spaces for the Boerboel boy in Police Kennels and 2 local Gsds looking at PTS potentially very soon. Plus still trying to support the families and owners of ongoing cases thru the court system and find a kennel for the poor dog abandoned in Edinburgh before the end of the month. 😔 The situation is beyond a joke. I need help please to raise these funds and then once these dogs are safe, I'm done. If you are a rescue, I need RBU for 2 German Shepherds at risk, ( 1 MAY have a possible option that I've been working on 🙏 ) RBU for Blue the little Frenchie who has been waiting for a space for over year now and has recently taken unwell with his current foster.
