Hot talke: Whether you love it or hate it, the real reason many progressive, English-speaking elites feel a deep, almost physical discomfort with Hindutva is not because it is โ€œfascistโ€ or โ€œmajoritarianโ€. The discomfort comes from something far more threatening to their worldview: Hindutva is ideologically casteless. It declares that a Brahmin from Kerala, a Dalit from Uttar Pradesh, a Patel from Gujarat, and an Adivasi from Jharkhand are all simply Hindus; equal children of the same civilizational mother, united by territory, culture, and history rather than divided by varna or birth. Savarkar made this explicit a century ago: Hindu identity is not about caste hierarchy but about who shares this land and its sacred geography. In one stroke, Hindutva removes caste from the centre of Indian identity and places Hindu unity there instead. For those whose entire moral and intellectual universe is built on caste as Indiaโ€™s original and eternal fault-line, this is nothing short of existential sabotage. Calling Hindutva โ€œBrahminicalโ€ is the last ideological defence mechanism when the ground beneath the caste-first worldview begins to crack.

Did Brahminsโ€“โ€“a caste that makes up 3% of India todayโ€“โ€“TRICK the other 97% of Indians into worshipping them across 4000 years & 1.7 million square miles? Here's where that malicious & frankly insulting lie comes from: Enter JATITVA ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ

There are frequent debates in India about what exactly forced the British to grant us Independence in 1947. It was a combination of factors that included a war-weary Britain, and the long-running political mobilisation in India. However, the fear of guerrilla warfare by the revolutionaries, and the possibility of a revolt in the Indian armed forces (esp after INA & Naval revolt) played a major role. We do not need to debate this because Prime Minister Attlee has explicitly noted this in the Transfer of Power papers (Nov 1946). Just look up Vol 9, doc 35, page 68 (199 in the pdf): apnaorg.com/wp/books/transโ€ฆ

They've gotten used to it. Hope @OFMUAE is taking cognisance of this behaviour. There's no reason to keep backing a rabid dog. Look at how they've avoided their Saudi deal. Pakis don't care about the Islamic world; they merely care about propping up their own quasi-dictatorship

Your kids are going to grow up in a world where China will be their model society in terms of technology, commerce, culture, and even governance. They will idolize and idealize the place as a fantasy wonderland and society. They will want to study there, visit there, and even move there(sadly for them, most aren't getting in.) You see how crazy the Japan simping is right now? 40 years past Japan's economic peak? The China simping will be 10X that level by 2040. Because China has won the end of history.

This is why I love statistics. If we look at 1995, Indiaโ€™s rank of 35th looks stellar compared to today. However, the game was rigged by the math. In 1995, TI only ranked 41 countries. India was 35th out of 41, ~85th percentile from the top. By not adjusting for the total number of participants (which grew to 180+), the raw rank creates a false nostalgia. Being 35/41 is actually worse than being 93/180. TIโ€™s historical data often fails to highlight this denominator bias, making developing nations look like they are in a freefall when they are actually stagnant/improving. I can also speak about the methodologies used by them but that requires a longer article (maybe for the weekend).

One of the most positive developments in the Indian economy over the past five years has been its strong growth in manufacturing and infrastructure, which has significantly boosted indiaโ€™s global economic position. The Indian government has placed a major emphasis on initiatives such as โ€œMake in India,โ€ aimed at encouraging domestic production and attracting foreign investment into key industries like electronics, automobiles, and pharmaceuticals. As a result, india has become an increasingly important hub for global supply chains, with many multinational companies expanding their operations within the country. This shift has not only created jobs but also improved export performance, contributing to a more balanced and resilient economy. In addition, india's large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, railways, and ports, have enhanced connectivity and reduced logistical costs, making businesses more efficient and competitive. The expansion of renewable energy capacity has also been a noteworthy achievement, positioning the Indian economy as a leader in sustainable development while reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. Furthermore, ongoing reforms aimed at simplifying taxation and improving the ease of doing business have strengthened investor confidence and encouraged entrepreneurship. These combined efforts demonstrate how the Indian economy has made meaningful progress in building a solid industrial base, supporting long-term growth, and increasing indiaโ€™s influence in the global market compared to China
