Eagles didn’t blitz Chiefs one time last night. Similar to Bucs vs. KC in the 2021 Super Bowl. But it’s not as simple as “blitz vs. no-blitz”. To win with just a 4-man rush, you have to have monsters on the edge and beasts in the middle. Great edge rushers can be neutralized with no middle push. Dominant interior rushers can be thwarted with no edge threat. The combination of both is what takes away escape lanes, suffocates the pocket and ultimately dominates games. Add in some lockdown guys on the backend, linebackers who can cover and you’re living the defensive dream.

The assessment was undertaken under the previous admin. Ratcliffe just made their finding public. Energy Dept scientists at LLNL shifted to favor lab origin two years ago. The only agency with moderate confidence either way is the FBI who favor lab origin. Would be nice to see the reasoning for these assessments obviously.

@EdCara4 asked me to comment on the revised CIA assessment claiming with low confidence that the pandemic began with a "lab leak." This reassessment was not a scientific assessment, as it is completely inconsistent with the evidence base. (Link to @Gizmodo article in replies)

@angie_rasmussen As someone previously in that community, using a 'low confidence' assessment for anything more than an interesting read is totally asinine. Its likely based on either very circumstantial reporting or one outlier report. But this also implies Rs actually understand intel.
