Jonathan Jones gave a new meaning to “Fly, Eagles Fly” ✈️ Jones, an NFL defensive back and licensed pilot, flew himself to Philadelphia in a single-engine turboprop aircraft to sign his contract with the Eagles.



The #Eagles recently reworked K Jake Elliott’s contract, trimming his base pay from $6 million to $5 million but guaranteeing all of it. His cap number for 2026 was lowered by $240k.



Andy Dalton, 38, is entering Year 16 in the NFL. He's under contract for $3.9M next season. ...And this obviously puts the Eagles in a position to trade Tanner McKee, if there's an offer they like.

GM Howie Roseman has an established history of stocking his QB depth. Tanner McKee has been QB2 and impressed in 2024 with late-season starts. If there happens to be a market for McKee, having Andy Dalton on the roster obviously gives them flexibility.
