
My only issue with this is that every saints name was once not. It didn’t prevent them from becoming a saint. I think the names the parents chose seem odd but most people don’t realize that many of the names we use now were originally derived from descriptive words like these. Names weren’t meant to be some meaningless label. They were descriptive of things that the parents saw as virtuous. By all means raise them within the church but how many famous saints are there that were the first named saint to carry their name?
