@po0pitysco0p @camhigby Paying someone will always leave questions of doubt on the validity of the claims. If they are doing the right they they shouldn't have to be paid or benefit from it as reporting on it is their duty and the benefit of the collective.

@camhigby The problem with your statement is I worked for mainstream media. I am a published photographer. If I did what you are doing I would get fired that is the honest truth and no media group would ever purchase my content from me for publication again.

@camhigby Than you are exactly the problem you have been complaining about. Paying for information creates integrity and credibility issues. People will say whatever you want if you're paying for it. You know how the saying goes you can never trust a jailhouse snitch.

@adamcarolla @smokenscanent Exposing fraud is one thing. I like Nick Shirley. I even thought it could be looked at a little weird the way he was asking, where are the kids? Show me the kids? If I was running a day care I wouldn't submit to the demands of some 21 year old.

This is exactly how a corrupt governor responds when someone starts exposing fraud.

There’s a guy running an entire economy built on fake live streams and making $5,000 a day. It looks real at first glance but that’s the whole point. They take footage that people want to believe is live. Then they run it as a 24/7 livestream. The algorithm doesn’t care if it’s real. It only cares if people stay and watch. As the stream grows, monetization turns on and money starts pouring in: Live gifts / donations View based payouts Platform bonuses Comments questioning it don’t hurt the stream. They help the guy make more money. More comments = more reach. That’s the business model.

The infighting among conservative influencers and independent journalists is getting old. We don’t have to agree on everything. No one is perfect. Stop tearing each other apart and focus on the bigger picture.

@IRT_Media @NatRed67 And with all that said. As a independent journalist who has ran an LLC published in multiple newspapers I can't tell you how many times I have been attacked and sh^& talked by so called Independent journalist when I just try to point out the ethics behind journalism.
