My wife and I lost a bunch of friends after we publicly supported President Trump. One of the more interesting aspects of becoming a conservative is realizing just how many “secret/quiet” MAGA Republicans there are. So many people came up to me and said things like “I can’t say anything publicly, but I totally agree with you and thank you for everything you’re doing…” I find this is a huge HUGE group of people. I wish more people would say something, but most are worried about retaliation in their job or social situations. But it does make it a lot harder and more dangerous for those of us who are so public about our Right wing views. But I’d rather be honest than liked.

An old friend of mine has just informed me that a small group of people we went to high school with are “not speaking” to me because I’m a “dangerous right wing extremist.” I have not spoken to any of these people in almost 15 years, lol.
