The entire purpose of the gathering was to promote Amnesty International’s report branding Israel an “apartheid state”. The venue? The D.C. headquarters of an organization whose own official founding members list includes Bassem Tamimi and Manal Tamimi, direct members of the exact extended Tamimi clan as Ahlam Tamimi, the Hamas operative on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list. Ahlam Tamimi is the convicted Hamas suicide bomb planner who orchestrated the August 9, 2001 Sbarro pizzeria massacre in Jerusalem that killed 15 people, including American citizens, and injured 130 more. She remains wanted by the U.S. Department of Justice for conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction on behalf of Hamas. That terror family link is not hidden, it is posted on Dar Alhurriya’s own website at the exact address where Carrie showed up smiling for the cameras. Carrie attended the event alongside Sameerah Munshi, the Muslim adviser who resigned from the same commission. CAIR immediately praised both women publicly. This is precisely how Islamist adjacent talking points and terror family optics are laundered into our country in hopes of normalization, under the deceptive banner of “religious liberty.” Carrie physically showed up at the DC home of a group that proudly lists relatives of a Hamas mass murderer as founders, got celebrated by a major Muslim advocacy group with documented terror ties of its own, and then received a hero’s welcome from a sitting US Congressman.
