🚨 Active supply chain attack on axios@1.14.1. The latest version pulls in plain-crypto-js@4.2.1 -- a brand-new package that didn't exist before today. Socket's AI analysis flags it as a malicious obfuscated dropper: runtime deobfuscation, dynamic execSync loading, payload staging to temp/ProgramData directories, and post-execution artifact deletion. Consistent with supply chain malware. We're still investigating. If you use axios, pin your version and audit your lockfile.

Before AI, we have agile, DDD, Clean/Hexagonal arch, TDD, etc and few people followed them strictly and rest of them have been doing "delivering what they can within the given time using their skills". Now with AI, it's going to be the same. Few people are going to use AI to accelerate their well thought out development practices using techniques like Spec-Driven Development, while the rest of them are going to vibe code. Tools just amplify their way of working. Don't expect that AI is going to magically make developers better. "You need to bring discipline". This reminds me of a beautiful dialogue by Harrison Ford in the "Six Days Seven Nights" movie.
