I feel like we are missing the perspectives of the foreign players in the league. With all due respect—and nothing against the Israeli Players Association—they have every right to defend and speak on their concerns.
My questions are: Is there a players’ association for the foreign players in the league? Why isn’t there a single players’ association representing all players in the league?
I’m not specifically speaking on the decision to return games to Israel is right or wrong, but I believe everyone’s opinion should be considered. I also think the issue is bigger than just the return of games. Players’ perspectives, through proper representation, should be expressed in all situations—such as rule changes, player safety, playing conditions, and relationships with referees.
The solution should be for each team to have one Israeli and one foreign player as representatives to address concerns and handle matters at hand, ensuring everyone is aligned. This is a time to show unity among all players, not division.
