People often mistake a soft heart for a lack of boundaries. When you're close to my heart, you'll experience grace and patience. You'll also see a version of me that makes room for your flaws, not because I don't see them, but because love naturally extends mercy. But once that access is lost, the grace goes with it. The same heart that was warm can become unreachable. Not out of spite, but because boundaries become necessary where trust no longer exists. That's when people discover that kindness and accessibility were privileges, not entitlements.

Scared of being judged. Men often see showing pain, fear, or vulnerability as a weakness. Sometimes they do that to protect others that look up to them.

The interesting thing is that the original quote wasn't "the customer is always right." It was "the customer is always right in matters of taste." The idea was never that customers can be rude, abusive, or unreasonable. It was that their preferences should be respected. Good customer service isn't about surrendering your dignity or tolerating it's about serving people well while maintaining healthy boundaries. Respect should flow both ways.

@Asufonma Yeah People have weaponized and it's sad. Customers need to be put in their place when they go beyond their boundaries.

@OlaReflects Thanks for shedding light on this context! Respect absolutely has to go both ways. Unfortunately, people have weaponized the shortened version of that statement for so long that it leads them to behave poorly without caring whose ox is gored
