I was going through Instagram one day, looking at different posts, just whiling away time basically. There was an Instagram post that showed a woman at a fundraiser for cerebral palsy with a caption stating something innocent, that she was excited to be attending. Her son also happened to have the disorder. The comments section was a disaster. In particular, someone said, "if your son didn't have cerebral palsy, you won't be doing damn a thing about the disorder... Fair weather bitch.," I thought to myself, it was a pretty blow. The Internet becomes such an ugly place at times. Is it wrong for people to need a reason to do a good thing?
