Over the next 4 months, the 30 participants from the towns will undergo continued business mentorship from the YO! team, local business mentors and support from @FNBNamibia to guide them as they complete the steps needed to start sustainable and compliant businesses.

In her sessions, Pewanifo Shikudule, founder of YakaBee Hair Salon, taught the participants basic hygiene principles in hairdressing & guided practical sessions on braiding styles. “Don’t give up & do not be afraid of starting, especially in hairdressing,” she encouraged them.

Stakeholder engagement for effective sexual and reproductive health implementation ✨ Yesterday, the i-BreakFree Project paid a courtesy visit to the Eenhana Multi-Purpose Youth Centre in the Ohangwena region as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing stakeholder relations.

Following the survey & data collection phase, the 2nd phase will commence with rolling out the #EmpowerToEarn skills development trainings for 90 young people in Rehoboth, Groot Aub & Okahandja. For the final phase, the participants will undergo business coaching & mentorship.

This morning, in partnership with the First Rand Namibia Foundation Trust, we were excited to launch #EmpowerToEarn, an initiative intentionally created to bridge the gap between skills development & economic participation. 💰📈 Here's a recap of the programme! 🧵
