One of the earliest prototypes of the Glock, with an oddly rounded slide. Something that would be changed in subsequent versions and never revisited again.
@Trippy_McGuire@FuddBusters If it does get past their sniff test, and the user is absolutely set on CA compliance. Then it'll mean getting it through interfamilial transfer or buying it from a LEO. It would have to be maglocked as well due to the magwell being outside the grip.
@Trippy_McGuire@FuddBusters Thanks that's interesting and I had no idea. It looks like it's marketed to be fired with one hand. By CADoJ's track record with SkyTactical's FIFY and other creative compliance innovations, they may still count on a long and an expensive lawsuit to gatekeeper that interpretation
@FuddBusters I lived off campus my second year because the school dorm banned non-service dogs and firearm storage. Bay Area can be pretty sparse for good spots but most of LA County and Inland Empire has BLM land or an outdoor range within an hour drive.
@FuddBusters And now the most important part: if you just separate the receiver with the gun as is and pinky promise to not assemble it ever with all of the features you shouldn't have an issue taking that baby out to the BLM deserts to stare at some targets with the gun disassembled
@PrzemekShura As others have mentioned the one in the video is the Russian clone. The Ukrainian company Wild Hornets is not exporting or allowing licensed production outside of Ukraine. They're also user guided.
Takie systemy antydrnowe powinny być jak najszybciej wdrażane w Polsce i dostarczane do jednostek. To najtańszy sposób neutralizowania zagrożeń powietrznych..
Na filmie ukraiński mały interceptor - dron Sting (Wild Hornet) czy P1-Sun raz nakierowany cel, sam dalej podąża za nim...
ceny: od 1 do 2,5 tys USD.
@deanyhung@zhaoxiongding@clashreport That one grandpa would have stories about his friends getting disappeared or thrown into Tamsui during the White Terror times. Has basically never missed an election since the DPP's inception to his passing three years ago.
@deanyhung@zhaoxiongding@clashreport He has a sister I never met who started a new life in Brazil. Hope to go meet that side of my family one day. My dad's side was also rooted in Tainan, the old family house is gone now but used to be occupied by a line of traders, pharmacists, and my textile factory owner grandpa.
Anduril Founder Palmer Luckey on China:
Can we outmanufacture them? No.
But we don't need to outmanufacture them to make a Taiwan invasion infeasible.
There's a world where they have a hundred times more ballistic missiles than us and we still have enough between us and our allies to deny them access to Taiwan.
If they take Taiwan, history and the words out of Xi Jinping's own mouth show they're immediately going to hop over to Okinawa, part of the Philippines, maybe part of Vietnam.
Xi Jinping is going out saying, 'I was in our national archives reading about the Ryuku Islands — 650 years ago they sent a gift to us, that means they're a tributary state.'
He's not saying this because he loves wandering the national archives.
They are constructing a national narrative that would allow them to convince their people to start with Taiwan and end with a lot of our Pacific allies.
💯 Han settlers on Taiwan have been present since 1624, when the Dutch brought them from Hokkien/Fujian province to work the land. To give historical
context, this is around the same time as the Mayflower landing at Plymouth Rock in America. There are Taiwanese people on Taiwan who can trace their ancestry on the island for centuries longer than many Americans (white, black, or otherwise), yet no one says that descendants of the Mayflower are still British citizens, but plenty of people these days ignorantly lump Taiwanese with the Chinese nation.
There is a difference between being ethnically of the Han race, and being a citizen of China. Taiwan’s history diverged from China a long time ago, and for indigenous tribes on Taiwan, they never had anything to do with China.
@zhaoxiongding@clashreport If the deal was with the Nationalists for German concessions, it still had nothing to do with the Communist Party. Moreover 70% of the net Taiwanese population descends from people present before the KMT's occupation and hold a right to self determination.
@clashreport Totally wrong. China’s position on Taiwan has been consistent for 110+ years and 2 governments.
During WW1 the ROC sent 100k laborers to the Western front as part of a deal for the Allies to support us getting Taiwan back.
But whatever sells you more weapons.
@CCurtisWatson@DocStrangelove2 They can be had for $1400 before taxes. FN's importation cycle doesn't make it easy to find spare parts though (Took their distributor 3 years just to get stockpads in stock)
@DocStrangelove2 As someone who desperately wants a PS90 it hurts my soul to see retards abuse this poor firearm like that when I could have given it the home it deserves...
R.I.P. poor little G'ould killer. You didn't deserve this fate...
@Big0lRichard@Dovidcc@DocStrangelove2 5.7 was also designed from the start to have the bare minimum of powder to cycle a 22 cal sized projectile while meeting ballistic requirements. They had to fit as much rounds as they could on a gun that wasn't meant to be carried as a full kit with spare mags.
@Big0lRichard@Dovidcc@DocStrangelove2 Doesn't have to be wrong powder at all. 5.7 is also the easiest load to catastrophically mess up. The margin of error between a safe round and an overcharge is 1 grain. This can happen with over 8 grains of silhouette or over 8.5 grains of true blue.
