Fair questions. Let's address each directly. 1. Why is this different from past Cardano traceability efforts? Most previous efforts followed a "build it and they will come" model. Create a protocol, then seek #enterprise adoption. That's hard: enterprises don't adopt unproven infrastructure. OFC flips this: Kraft Heinz is co-funding this @Catalyst_onX proposal and driving the integration. This isn't hope, it's a Fortune 500 company with budget committed, ready to scale once the pilot delivers boardroom proof. 2. What makes success more likely? - Kraft Heinz is a co-funder, not a prospect. Shared funding model = aligned incentives - Real regulatory driver: tomatoes are on the FDA Food Traceability List (FSMA 204). Compliance deadline 2028 — Kraft Heinz needs traceability that can respond to FDA within 24 hours. - Same approach addresses other regulatory requirements as we scale: EU Digital Product Passport, EUDR for other crops. One integration, multiple compliance needs. 3. On spillover effects — where's the evidence? Honest answer: we can't guarantee spillover. No one can. But the mechanism is clear: enterprise adoption spreads through peer networks. Procurement teams benchmark competitors. Sustainability officers compare approaches. A working Kraft Heinz implementation becomes a reference case in those conversations. We're not promising spillover. The pilot creates the proof that makes spillover possible. Thank you🙏 Blockchain traceability has already been pursued by Cardano-related entities, including the Cardano Foundation, EMURGO, and IOG, and I believe several community projects have also worked on similar initiatives. Given this history, does the existence of this proposal imply that those efforts have not been successful so far? If so, could you clarify why traceability solutions on Cardano have generally struggled in the past, and what makes this proposal different or more likely to succeed? Additionally, you suggest that ROI can be justified by downstream spillover effects to other enterprises. However, I am not aware of any blockchain product to date that has demonstrably generated such enterprise-level spillover effects. Is there data or evidence that supports the assumption that this will occur in this case?

In the “Cardano Partners: Tier-1 Enterprise Integrations” category, there are 26 large proposals, each requesting at least 250,000 ADA. I find this category particularly difficult to evaluate. When enterprises use a public blockchain, they almost never design their systems to generate a large, continuous volume of L1 transactions. If transactions are executed on L1, the cost is ultimately borne by the enterprise or its users. Under Cardano’s current transaction fee model, it is not realistic for enterprises to design their core business operations on the assumption of sustained L1 transaction costs. As a result, in real-world deployments, enterprises will inevitably minimize L1 transaction usage through batch processing, aggregated writes, and L2 or off-chain execution. In other words, enterprise adoption is not inherently correlated with a significant increase in L1 transactions, nor with the return of transaction fees at a scale comparable to 250,000 ADA or more. Whether a company is a global brand, has a massive user base, or enjoys high public recognition has little impact on this reality. Therefore, the ROI of Catalyst proposals that emphasize “enterprise adoption” should be evaluated using metrics other than L1 transaction volume. The question is: what should those metrics be? ・Are we expecting a network effect, where the presence of well-known enterprises encourages additional Tier-1 companies to follow? ・Are we assuming that “adoption news” will meaningfully attract new ADA users? ・Or are we, in effect, using treasury funds to pay for the intangible satisfaction of “supporting a good cause,” despite the absence of proportional economic returns? None of these assumptions feels sufficiently concrete to justify a confident vote. Ultimately, it may be that blockchains are structurally better suited to serving individuals directly, rather than providing infrastructure for Tier-1 enterprises.

We're integrating Kraft Heinz enterprise systems onto #Cardano — bringing boardroom-level proof that the network works for regulated supply chains. Scaling requires collaboration with ecosystem partners, not duplicating them. @palmeconomy specializes in first-mile farmer integration. We specialize in enterprise integration. Different layers, aiming for shared standards. We're working with @Cardano_CF and @palmeconomy on interoperability — roundtable event coming, details soon. Institutional identity verification? Why not use those or collaborate with these projects and adopt it to your needs. Seems like a huge waste of ADA reinventing the wheel once again.

No, not within 2 years. Our value proposition focuses on enterprise adoption, not purely TX fee ROI. This is about fortune 500 boardroom proof demonstrating that Cardano works at enterprise scale for regulated supply chains. The proposal funds what unlocks a repeatable model; first across Kraft Heinz's portfolio (57+ varieties, multiple ingredients, other products), then other food corporates.

Thank you, I haven't read the proposal yet, but I expect all use case proposals to explain the following: How many L1 transactions do you expect within two years? Is that more than the requested amount of ada multiplied by 10? If it's less, can you quantify what the return to ada holders would be for this amount? If it's more, can you show evidence that it's achievable?
