This guy survived sepsis, kidney failure and weeks in the ICU, taking years of “hell on earth” to recover from Hantavirus. LongCOVID ‘advocates’ and ‘experts’ must be ecstatic at the prospect of calling this one an IACC and just another post viral syndrome to line their pockets.

@emily_tweets @Umbumlum1 You need to repeatedly test. Most tests for SARS-COV-2 (COVID) give false negatives until viral load is high. Especially if the test is expired.

I’ve been on antibiotics for 5 days. Prescription nasal spray. Prescription cough gel cap. A steroid for 2 days. And I’m still running a 99-100 fever throughout the day. It’s been over a week now. I’m at a loss. I want to feel like myself again. Any doctors out there? Help.

Why masked if you don’t feel sick? Asymptomatic transmission and pre symptomatic transmission, two of the most dangerous and difficult aspects of disease control. 40-50% of Covid cases are asymptomatic. ZERO SYMPTOMS.

In healthy people this tracks. But with so many having had multiple SARS-CoV-2 infections which can result in immune dysfunction, theoretically their immune response may not be robust, resulting in an expedited acute phase.

It seems likely that the first case of Andes Virus was infected in northern Patagonia/Chubut province, which would overlap with where prior outbreaks have been including the one published in NEJM. There seems to be some information that the travelers were there a few weeks before boarding the ship, which would fit better with the incubation period. If they were only in Ushiaia for a couple of days before the cruise, incubation would be too short.

Please pay attention. The same organization that claimed you could remove your mask after vaccination for SARS-CoV-2, although they knew it was airborne and the vax only reduced symptoms during the acute phase. Always a good day to mask again! r/Masks4All is great resource

Earlier today I spoke with the doctor on the ship and he confirmed something. CDC messaging continues to say "prolonged, close contact" but that contradicts: 1) what's in the literature, and 2) what's happening on this ship. --> the doc told me a few who got infected/died DID have direct contact w/ very sick patient while treating them, but 3 who tested positive did NOT have direct physical or close contact - only shared time in a few spaces on the ship where people congregate (dining, lecture area)

Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario's CMOH, 'Andes Virus can be transmitted 1 day before symptoms....', at any time during the 7 week incubation period. We now only have 16 people being quarantined. 130 are doing home isolation. This one day ASYMPTOMATIC TRANSMISSION is NOT GOOD.
