So let me get this straight... Baylor tells TPUSA we can invite community members (non-students) to our event, but then reverses their decision after some progressive students complained, forcing us to tell 4,500 ticket holders not to come. Baylor then greenlights a progressive counter-programming event "All Are Neighbors" and decides community members CAN attend that. The Southern Baptist school's hypocrisy is documented right here in the student newspaper for all to see. What gives, @Baylor?

Activists like Rufo have no theory of social change beyond activism so they discount the role of ideas. They also ignore the division of labor - social change results from coalitions of people employing complementary tactics. They only know one thing.

This is a complete misrepresentation of Elizabeth’s position. Her argument (echoing Scruton) is that conservatives are tasked with preserving and sharing a cultural tradition that includes philosophy, art, literature, etc., not “owning the libs” with short-term political wins.

Craziest thing and sorta wonderful. I keep reliving various seasons of ministry at Living Proof in my dreams. I know this is because of the impending farewell as we transition to minimal staff and the sale of our building by June 2027. I have dreams that recapture even the coworkers I had during this season and that amid 4 decades. We’re serving together again in those dreams and very realistically, all the way to the hard work and laughter. Last night the dream was with 4 of us in our present staff and we cried together talking about how deeply we would miss one another. It’s so fascinating and meaningful and I wonder if perhaps a gift from the Lord. I have loved all of these people through the years so so much. They’ve meant the world to me. And he’s letting me relive serving with them. Isn’t that something?
