@rileyshepsky Oil is used usually after a bath to keep moisture in and keep the skin from drying out. You don't want to use it during a change as oil break down the fluff in a diaper.

@Bluehasia Photography is my happy place. There's a huge reason I never went into it for money. Sucks to see so many people think it isn't a real art form. Like I would love to see the whiners pick up a camera and try and make something decent.

The backlash Dire Walf is getting is one of the reasons I closed my commissions. I received a lot of pushback for charging $60 per photo for work like this. I travel to conventions with sometimes upwards of $15,000 in camera gear and another $3,000 in lighting and accessories. For some clients, I spend up to three hours during the convention on a shoot, plus around ten hours afterward on post-editing. Over time, it became discouraging. I felt my work was worth more, yet even at $60 per photo, people said I was overcharging for “just a photo.” That left me feeling devalued, like my work wasn’t appreciated. That’s a big reason I closed commissions. I needed a break. At this point, I’m not even sure I’ll reopen, because fursuit photography can sometimes feel like a thankless artistic path in the fandom.

travel question: why do some people use their fursuit heads as their personal item for flights? is it not better to just shove it in a bag that you can also use to hold some clothes and other things or am i missing something?

@PaddedHusk 🙄 and if enough Dem voters think it’s fine not to vote because their vote “doesn’t count,” then Rs can win the majority of votes, and then what happens? The state flips to red. Vote every single time, no matter what. Also, there are down ballot races, not just presidential.

Every time Trump does insanely evil things I just boil alive with anger over people who voted for him, voted third party, or sat out this election. We have had OVER A DECADE of his behavior to know he'd do evil shit like this and yet y'all didn't listen. I'm just so pissed.

@LoriSuzanne3 Except that's not true. Because of the electoral college the president is decided even though votes are still being counted. So it's quite easy to tell who's votes didn't change the outcome
