We had so many groups & teams and families (& even a therapy dog) join us for PanCAN #PurpleStride #Chicago. We're all fighting the same beast, & it was wonderful to see so many people come together to fight #pancreaticcancer & turn it purple on Saturday. #FridayFlashback💜💜

Another big #shoutout to ALL the volunteers who helped in many different ways to make @PanCAN #PurpleStride #Chicago the success that it was. It takes many hands and brains to put it all together. 💜💜

We also need to give major #props and #thanks to our PanCAN #PurpleStride #Chicago emcee, Midday Michelle, a.k.a. Michelle Abraham for being our amazing emcee on Saturday. Her mom is a survivor and she is a staunch advocate for #pancreaticcancer awareness. Thanks, Michelle! 💜

Although they weren't in Wheaton with us Saturday, Team Walk for Chuck still participated in #PurpleStride from afar & they are our No. 1 fundraising #Chicago affiliate team! #Congrats to Jill Peet Saponaro & her team for raising nearly $45,000 to fight #pancreaticcancer! 💜💜

Sad to report we lost one of our @PanCAN #Chicago volunteers, major contributors/fundraisers and biggest fighters against #pancreaticcancer, Jim Aggelopoulos. He battled this beast for 2.5 years until Sunday. He'll be sorely missed, but we'll keep fighting! #KeepOnPunchin 💜
