Actor Josh Duhamel: “Just because you have a platform doesn't mean you get to preach to everybody.” Megyn Kelly: “Ahh, thank you! Tell that to the Oscars.” Josh Duhamel: “I spend a lot of time in the Midwest, so I get to see what they actually think about us, and they’re not afraid to tell me.” “About 10 years ago… [a buddy] meets me at the airport with a t-shirt that says, ‘Nobody cares what actors think.’ And I was like, ‘D*mn that’s really funny. That’s really good.’”
“That has always stuck with me because it’s true.”

@townbrad Because DFW has 5 different Terminals with each having their own entry and many TSA check points in each Terminal. It’s almost like a Decentralized system.

No idea why DFW Airport appears immune to the TSA mess across the country, but very appreciative to have literally zero wait today. Also highly recommend TSA Pre-Check Touchless ID if you haven’t enrolled.

@JJWatt Tips were meant for those paid on tips, if you are paid hourly, I don’t give a tip unless I’m feeling generous or you did something that compelled me to give you one.

Genuine question on a restaurant situation: You walk up to a counter to order. You find your own table and seat yourself. If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself. If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself. The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected. What’s your move?

I will not fall for the anti-cruise ship psyop. You pay like $1000 and you get to visit 4 or 5 different countries within one week while having endless food and entertainment.

@unlimited_ls Old school parenting of others kids. Need more of this. Kid wasn’t hurt, and guy didn’t intend to hurt him. The kid found out there our repercussions in life. Too many kids these days push the limits because they know the opposing party won’t do anything.

@ismellbuttts @Hurth46891 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport You wrote it as if it were verbatim. If you’re interpreting intent, then say that, “he was implying citizens should come first.” That’s different than what you said. The insults speak for themselves, so I’m going to leave it there.

@Chill02021 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport In a civic sense, yes, governments serve their citizens. But constitutionally, the limits on government power apply to “persons.” Representation and constitutional protections aren’t the same category. Does that make sense?

@ChillinTheMostx @PapiChulo2437 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport ^this. This isn’t a constitutional debate; it’s a simpler policy question. Do you prioritize the needs of citizens over illegals. This isn’t some debate over rights. This isn’t a loaded question; it’s a simpler request of someone’s priorities.

@ChillinTheMostx @danobailey @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Voters can favor prioritizing citizens, that’s policy. My point was about implying a constitutional hierarchy that isn’t in the text. It’s not about my opinion; it’s about what the Constitution actually says. Separate issues.

@PapiChulo2437 @danobailey @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport He’s not quoting the constitution he’s making a statement about the priority of the American government. You didn’t answer my question, do you truly believe that American voters do not think that the US government should be prioritizing their own citizens needs?

@Whompygg @WillyDiBa7 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Due process applying to “persons” doesn’t mean no enforcement. It means the government must follow lawful procedures before removal. A final order of removal is the result of due process, that actually proves my point. Thank you.

@PapiChulo2437 @WillyDiBa7 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Ok how else will illegals get due process unless ice hunts them down? And ice is hunting down people and deporting people with final order of deportation. Like where are they not getting due process? Most deportees HAVE final order of removal. Keep crying

@ismellbuttts @Hurth46891 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Citizens have unique political rights, yes. But due process applies to “persons.” Conflating those two categories is what makes the question loaded. And I can vote because the constitution grants me that right, not you or your opinions.

@PapiChulo2437 @Hurth46891 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport It wasn’t a question, it was a statement. It also wasn’t loaded at ALL. It was simple. are American citizens owed more by their Government than non-citizens? There’s a question, and if your answer isn’t a resounding yes, then you shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

@ChillinTheMostx @danobailey @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport The Constitution doesn’t say the government’s “first duty is to protect citizens first.” That language isn’t there. It provides for the common defense and protects “persons.” There’s no priority hierarchy. Why stand for wording that misstates that?

@PapiChulo2437 @danobailey @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport No, the statement is that the government’s first duty is to American citizens first. It does not say that anyone has no protections, that’s false. Do you truly believe that voters would be upset with them for standing for that statement?

@WillyDiBa7 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Different rights doesn’t mean a hierarchy of protection. Citizens have additional political privileges, but the Constitution doesn’t rank basic protections by citizenship. Due process applies to “persons,” period.

@PapiChulo2437 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport I mean, you kinda say it yourself here. If they have some rights but not as many as citizens, then kinda by definition the priority of the government is protecting the citizens before them.

@Hurth46891 @ShaboiUtes @LeadingReport Not disagreeing with you. Just contesting the framing of the question. Factually, non-citizens do have protections in the constitution. It was a loaded question, thats all.
