Sensational win from the Opals over Japan. They had a 20-point turnaround from 10 points down to winning 81-71. Love the passing, balance and poise from this Opals team who are playing in the qualifiers despite already having a spot at the World Cup. #FIBAWWC
If this is indeed a burner account of a certain #nbl26 team owner, this would have to be up there with his most embarrassing tweets ever. Asking grok an irrelevant question and thinking you've proved a point is lamer than a geriatric in a Hawaiian shirt
@CollaroyDavid@WNBL The whistle that forced her to the bench for the rest of the first half, during which the Fire went on an 18-9 run, was especially ridiculous.
@WNBL Great effort but bummer it was full of flops, some pitiful calls on your marquee draw card. 1 official called 3 or 4 of them & down the stretch, also called a marginal travel & then let a player on the other team travel 3 times on a movement just a few metres away. ๐คท

@nicktan77 That's a great sign with a week left. GA is still a lot of seats at HPC, but I expect they'll be snapped up fast. Will be rocking in there. I still think full HPC > full RAC.
@PerthLynx Shout out to @_Breezy_Briii for helping us get those crucial wins early in the #wnbl season that set us up for home court in the semi finals. ๐
@AdamWesterhout@NathGiglia@ctrt23 Chicken/egg. Some would argue that no PG is the reason for going 0-4 in those 1 point games. That has some merit IMO, since some weren't just losing close ones, they were choking on game-winning leads. Silver lining: they happened early enough for us to learn & improve.
@NathGiglia@ctrt23 All without a PG.
I've said we need a PG numerous times.
But when 2/4 of those close ones and we sit top of the table, is the PG discussion still happening??!
Hannah Chicken led Portland State with a career-high 22 points on 8-11 shooting with 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks in a 64-62 win against Sacramento State.
Fellow Aussie Rubi Gray hit 4 triples on her way to 16 points for the Hornets in their loss.
