What a stark contrast between two developed western countries. In one, continuing waste, corruption, open borders, rampant crime. Showering tax payers money around on global & local vanity projects. Persecution of the innocent & forgiveness for the guilty. A radical Marxist leading a motley crew of barely able people intent on the destruction of the country in their care. I am in total despair for the U.K. ————————- In the other, a cleansing, a discovery & rectification of waste, borders shut, criminals deported & the sanctity of the family restored. A family man leading, intent on restoring the greatness, safety & security of his country, using an unbelievably talented team of like minded people. I am in awe of the USA.

You are a spiteful class warrior destroying children’s lives with an ideological tax no other developed country imposes on education. You didn’t “end tax breaks.” You slapped VAT on school fees for the first time in history, shut over 100 schools, made thousands of teachers redundant, and displaced vulnerable SEND kids who relied on specialist private provision. Your own “record investment” claim is already falling apart. Teacher numbers are down, class sizes are up. Stop playing the working-class victim while waging war on aspiration and parental choice. The only one gaslighting here is you.

1884 the last adjustments made to the Stevenson screen. Of course the number of data points will have been minimal compared to today. Satellite measurements from c1980 not the same measurement by any stretch of the imagination. The other point is every met office will now be filled, more or less, with rabid climate change fanatics, who may not take the same moral view on tweaking numbers as the old guys did. I’ve been working outside today. It’s very hot but barely over 30o I estimate based on my experience.

@ZackPolanski UK has its hottest June day on record, with temperatures reportedly hitting 35.7°C. The previous June record was 35.6°C, set in 1957 and matched in the legendary summer of 1976…..so literally 69 years ago and 50 years ago it was this hot!

10 years since Brexit. I’m still waiting for the currency meltdown. Still waiting for us to underperform our EU peers. Still waiting for the small boats to stop. Still waiting for the slow ones at the back to realise; We do not need another 900 odd MEP to rule over us. The vast majority with an agenda unaligned with us. The EU was founded by a Communist cabal and that Politic is still its central remit via the WEF WHO & UN Agenda 2030. Day to day trade, passport Qs (if you find one). Etc, all just noise. Look deeper if you want to retain a free centrist U.K.
