Really full of grief today, for @timkellernyc's family, for his friends and colleagues, and for the church. He was a friend and we will miss our times together. He was the real deal-- full of love, compassion, and kindness. The reunion will be joyful, but the tears are real.

Full of deep grief. @timkellernyc was a friend and encouragement to me in some very lonely areas of my life, and while death has no sting, the reunion will be joyful, and we know this day would come for tim and us all, it still feels far too soon. Trying not weep in SFO

Deep grief right now. So much good can be said about @timkellernyc and his important ministry, but for us he was a dear friend and deep encouragement to our work— his homecoming is a joy but a loss for his family and all who knew him. Feels far too soon
