Conservatives aren’t necessarily wrong abt James Talarico. His faith doesn’t challenge any element of the secular progressive social agenda. That’s wrong and seems like a political gimmick. The problem is they’ve lost credibility by failing to apply a biblical standard to Trump.

A Trump national security official resigned over the Iran war. “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation.”

Don’t trust your algorithm to help you develop an informed and faithful opinion. It feeds your worst impulses. It makes everyone who disagrees with you look like a buffoon or a demon. It hides the best arguments on the other side. It will lure you into hating your neighbor.

Some suggest that those with bad political opinions are not Christians at all. Be careful! That’s self-righteous and ignores the injustice and immorality on your side. Jesus brought zealots and tax collectors together. It’s not likely salvation is exclusive to your party.

Faithfulness in public life requires patience, courage, and conviction.

The culture is teaching young men that being honorable is lame. The culture is teaching young women being respectful is weak. The culture is trying to destroy our sense of compatibility and need for one another. Don’t fall for it.

Christian engagement is most powerful when it reflects the character of Christ.

Public witness rooted in Christ is formed, not reactionary.

I’m not watching the Bad Bunny performance or the alternative Kid Rock performance. Substantively, neither performer presents a healthy model for the children in the audience. My issues with Kid Rock don’t persuade me to defend Bad Bunny’s sexualized gimmicks and vice versa.
