Severity of pain in OA more closely related to CRP levels rather than extent of structural damage. It's important that patients understand that pain is not a measure of further damage especially activity-related pain. ard.bmj.com/content/63/2/2…

High-intensity exercise (75% max heart rate) more robustly altered multiple aspects of metabolism, including glucose uptake and carbohydrate utilization - compared to lower-intensity aerobic exercise. It was basically shunting glucose away from tumors. aacrjournals.org/cancerres/arti…
