Leo was injured multiple times during the war and recovered. He was also injured in recent months with a broken leg that caused him severe pain, but I was unable to treat him due to lack of resources. And in the last week, due to the unavailability of food โ€” even at high prices โ€” he was forced to eat something poisonous, which led to his death.

The myth of polio? Sir, my mother and aunt contracted polio at 5 & 7. Their parents watched behind glass while doctors tried to will their bodies to be mobile again. They experienced nerve damage and paralysis. My aunt is dead due to post-polio and my mother is in constant pain.
