President William Ruto of Kenya just popped by to our stand at Kenya Innovation Week to find out about CAGE Technology and our clean biogas generators.

@francis_evans @weareinnovateuk @beisgovuk We are trialling it on Kirkwall Harbour in Orkney in a solar-battery hybrid power system and there it uses a multi cylinder pack (MCP) containing about 12 kg of hydrogen. This will fuel it for several weeks or longer depending on how much charge the batteries get from sunshine!

@Jim_Holder @francis_evans The other problem is OEM’s don’t want to make smaller cars as they have smaller profit margins. In the new economic world this could make motoring an elitist activity and/or open the door to an invasion of lower cost Chinese cars. At least Dacia is bucking the trend.

Very sorry to hear of the death last Friday of Nick Carpenter, of Delta Engineering, a great bloke and one of Britain’s finest new generation engineers. He had been battling illness for a while, but his passing is still a source of huge shock and sadness to all who knew him.
