Having a high IQ is one of those things with a relatively low ceiling and a very low floor. Outside of extreme outliers, being smarter doesn’t make you more successful. It often has the opposite effect. Most people would be happier if they were a little more attractive & a little dumber. If you want to create a life worth living, you must be excellent at doing. Thinking is actually optional in most cases. The other guy isn’t winning because he’s smarter than you. He’s winning because you’re still thinking about the other guy instead of doing the thing.

Anything you observe is not you. Not your mind, thoughts, fears, worries, sensations, objects, etc. You are the omnipresence witnessing it all. Your true self is calm, steady, undisturbed like the depths of the ocean. Everything else is just what’s happening on the surface.

The only way up is gambling, and that’s how I did it. Risk is required. MASSIVE RISK. It took every ounce of energy, and cost me everything at different periods of time, along the way. The lower & middle classes have figured out that the educational industrial complex puts you down a mediocre path where you can never escape the rat race. We are at the late capitalist stage where it is irresponsible to NOT gamble for a living. Eventually people come to the same conclusion; there really is no other way up the ladder. We are all just at different stages of figuring this out. Godspeed.

Thought experiment Tomorrow, AI and robots can produce enough food, housing, medicine, energy, and goods for everyone. No scarcity. No need for most human labor. Would society finally free people from economic desperation or would it invent new artificial scarcity just to preserve hierarchy?

It is being reported that China intervened and specifically asked Iran to accept the ceasefire with the US. If that is true, many analysts will be proven right that the Iran conflict was really about global conflict and competition with China. Big if true.

I don't have an opinion on Iran because I am not privy to classified information and I'm not a foreign policy expert. I'm self-aware enough to understand any opinion I have would be ignorant. I hope whatever happens is best for America and all our military members come home safely. 🇺🇸

I don't know about any of that. Like I said, my lack of opinions comes from a lack of knowledge. Even if I was against it, would it change? Should I stress myself out and stress my family out over something I have zero control over? What would I accomplish by doing that? Trump is not up for reelection no amount of getting mad at Trump will change to the president is.

I'm calling it now. Everyone thinks Trump is about to blow up IRAN tonight. Unlikely. I will tell you what actually happens. Most likely, He extends Or takes a partial deal and calls it a historic victory. Why? Look at the history of trump. North Korea; threatened to rain "fire and fury like the world has never seen." Ended up sitting down for a handshake summit. China: threatened to destroy their economy with tariffs. Ended up signing a trade deal and calling it a win. Mexico: threatened to shut the entire border down. Ended up getting minor concessions and declaring victory. This is the Trump playbook. Escalate the language to the extreme right before a negotiation closes, The land a deal and call himself the greatest dealmaker alive. And here's the thing nobody is saying, Bombing power plants doesn't open the Strait. Only a deal does. Watch.

Does anyone have an idea who is even negotiating on Iran's behalf? Because, as far am I am concerned, the whole negotiations thing, from beginning to end, could be an American-Israeli fabrication to save face with the American public and provide the US a respectable way of not doing something foolish that would cause assured economic destruction across the globe. They are trying to backtrack from Trump's ultimatum. They can't defeat Iran militarily so they are trying to break it apart through deception, confusion and psychological warfare. I have no doubt that immense efforts are being invested in sowing division and suspicion in Iran. That's what we could be seeing marketed as 'negotiations'. Until we hear it from Araghchi or Ghalibaf, it didn't happen
