Ba breá linn na teachtaireachtaí seo a chloisteáil á roinnt as Gaeilge. Is féidir leat d’íomhá agus do thacaíocht a roinnt leis na haischlibeanna #gránícrá, chomh maith le teachtaireachtaí an fheachtais cosúil le: Is siombail é brat na hÉireann de shábháilteacht, fáilte agus dlúthpháirtíocht. Is siombail é brat na hÉireann de marthanas ó leatrom agus ó choilíniú; tá muintir na hÉireann i ndlúthpháirtíocht le marthanóirí leatroma atá buailte fúthu. Tá muid ag glacadh seilbh ar bhrat na hÉireann ó na guthanna sin atá á úsáid chun eagla agus deighilt a leathadh. Má rugadh anseo thú nó gur tháinig tú níos déanaí, is cuma dath do chraicinn, is leat an áit seo agus is linne ar fad an brat seo. Táimid ag súil le bhur dteachtaireachtaí dlúthpháirtíochta, tacaíochta agus aontachta a léamh i mí na Nollag. Gaeilgóirí, we would love to hear these messages being shared as Gaeilge. You can share your image and support with the hashtags #OurFlag #lovenothate, as well as messages of the campaign like: • The Irish flag is a symbol of safety, welcome and solidarity • The Irish flag is a symbol of survival from oppression and colonisation; Irish people are in solidarity with survivors of oppression who call this country home • We reclaim the Irish flag from those voices using it to spread fear and division • Whether you were born here or arrived later, no matter the colour of your skin, you belong here and this flag belongs to us all We look forward to reading your messages of solidarity, support and unity in December. #OurFlag #LoveNotHate #ÉireLeChéile@INARIreland @icclrights @irishrefugeecouncil @lgbtireland_ie @national_womens_council_irl @black_andirish @itmtrav @hopeandcouragecollective @opendoorstowork @insight_matters

Successive policies on housing, privatisation, and underfunded public services have left so many struggling. Migrants, meanwhile, are keeping essential services running and contributing to the communities we all rely on.Ireland’s story has always been one of migration. Our ancestors left, refugees arrived, and communities thrived when policies supported them. Today, we need the same bravery from our leaders: policies that provide housing, fair work, and social supports, not fear and division. Let’s flood Ireland’s feeds with hope, solidarity, and stories of belonging. Share a photo or video with the Irish flag, and tell us what it means to your family, colleagues, or community. Together, we can reclaim the flag as a symbol of love, inclusion, and courage. #OurFlag #LoveNotHate #ÉireLeChéile@INARIreland @icclrights @irishrefugeecouncil @lgbtireland_ie @national_womens_council_irl @black_andirish @itmtrav @hopeandcouragecollective @opendoorstowork @insight_matters

The Irish flag is all of ours! Join the campaign! At Quality Matters, we have spent many years working alongside social services, community organisations to build innovative, compassionate support across Ireland. Through this work, we see every day how inclusion, dignity and connection strengthen our communities and make us stronger. That’s why we’re proud to support the #OurFlag campaign, a movement to reclaim the Irish flag from messages of fear and division. Every Irish family has had among its ancestors refugees and immigrants, 3 out of 5 children in the 50s left the country as they felt Ireland had nothing for them. This is our history. We need to let politicians know that we will not tolerate the scapegoating of refugees and migrants. This does not present Irish values or honor our past. These messages belong to corporate America and UK, not Ireland. There are political solutions that will provide housing and employment for all. This needs t be our focus - we need our leaders to be brave and reach for these - now is not the time for business as usual and it is not the time for blaming the most vulnerable. From today, December 1st, join us and communities and organisations across Ireland in sharing a photo or short video with the flag, or simply on your local street, along with a few words about what the flag or an inclusive Ireland means to you. Let’s fill Ireland’s feeds with hope, solidarity and stories of belonging. #OurFlag #LoveNotHate #ÉireLeChéile @INARIreland @ICCLtweet @IrishRefugeeCo @LGBT_ie @NWCI @Black_andirish @itmtrav @NascIreland @OpenDoorsToWork @Insight_Matters

In 2018, we saw a need to create meaningful employment opportunities for marginalised communities in Dublin and that’s when We Make Good began. Since then, it has grown from a team of 15! Over 37 people have trained and worked through the social enterprise, with 95% progressing to employment or education. We’re especially excited as it works harder than ever to build a sustainable future for textiles in Ireland. From repurposing uniforms to reducing waste and creating local production solutions, it’s leading the way in sustainable textile manufacturing and recycling. A big thank you for the support of @pobal and @Dept_ECC and @Rethink_Ireland.

We're thrilled to be featured again on RTÉ’s Heated – huge thanks to @RTEOne and the Heated team for spotlighting our work! This show has been an amazing opportunity to share how we're driving sustainable textile use and recycling across Ireland. We couldn't do any of this without the incredible support of our funders: @pobal , the @Dept_ECC, @Rethink_Ireland. Thank you for believing in our vision and helping us make it a reality. Following our Trauma Informed Practice (TIP) Conference in November 2024, we asked attendees to share their feedback on the event and the development of TIP nationally. Thanks to all who shared their insights. We’re using this feedback to support more organisations on their TIP journey. We were delighted to hear that the conference was meaningful - 89% said they’d recommend the conference to a colleague, and 95% found it both inspiring and relevant to their TIP work. It also showed that there is a lot more work to do. While 57% of services had undertaken TIP training, only 7% had a TIP Implementation Plan. Respondents highlighted the importance of ongoing support, working closely with colleagues, and seeing TIP in action to keep the approach alive in daily practice. The report also highlighted that many statutory agencies are lagging behind the C&V sector in relation to implementing TIP. Key areas identified for further TIP integration included healthcare, government, and schools. There was also a strong call for more accessible trauma education for service users and better understanding of TIP among funders. Thanks to all who shared their insights — we hope you will join us in using this feedback to support more organisations to start their TIP journey. This week, we were delighted to have facilitated the inaugural in person Leaders’ Forum on developing the #NatureRestorationPlan, bringing together experts and decision-makers from diverse backgrounds to shape the foundations of the plan. Through thought-provoking discussions, chaired by Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain (PhD) with an introduction by @COSullivanTD, presentation by Áinle Ní Bhriain and hosted by the National Parks and Wildlife Service @NPWSIreland & @DeptHousingIRL , this event provided a space for vital collaboration at the early stages in the plan development. At Quality Matters, we believe that impactful change starts with informed, inclusive dialogue. Seeing such a dynamic exchange of ideas reinforces our commitment to supporting conversations that drive meaningful progress. We will be posting about how you can engage in this important dialogue. #NatureRestoration #QualityMatters #Sustainability #LeadersForum #Ireland

Merry Christmas to everyone we have worked alongside this year. What unites all our projects is a shared desire to serve the most vulnerable in our society—more effectively and with greater compassion.. This work is happening against a backdrop where our core values of acceptance, integration and equality can feel as if they are being eroded. However, the recent election, which saw no right-wing representatives gaining seats, reminds us that the loud voices are sometimes only that. When we look at what has been achieved quietly - with perseverance and dedication - a different story emerges. It's a story where humanity triumphs, where people go the extra mile for each other. A story of dedicated people providing compassionate services and tirelessly advocating for better, more equitable policy making. It's one where we keep raising our voices, and take action - against war, for the climate and for equality. We are grateful to be able to support organisations and the workers at the frontline, whether this is through training, the TraumaInformed supports or conference, or organisational supports like research or strategy. It's you who is doing the most challenging (and rewarding) work; remaining present, connected and giving everyday. On behalf of us all - thank you for making this place a better place to be. We look forward to seeing you in 2025, and after a good rest, of working together with you to make things that little bit better. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful Christmas and New Year. Looking ahead to 2025, explore our training opportunities for the coming year: Trauma-Informed Training: traumainformed.ie/training SROI Practitioner Training: forms.gle/1V8Ntcfvc55UkN… Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership & Management: ncirl.ie/Courses/NCI-Co… #TraumaInformedCare #SROI #LeadershipDevelopment #SocialImpact
