Watched this at way too young an age and still loved every second. The train station sequence is one of the all-time great action sequences in film history, and it's basically De Palma using Battleship Potemkin as inspiration.

@BlackMajikMan90 An age-old story in Hollywood; Alex North being replaced by classical music for 2001, Alan Silvestri replaced by Danny Elfman for Mission: Impossible, Silvestri replacing Jerry Goldsmith for Judge Dredd. I always find it an interesting "what if" when this happens.

John Murphy was replaced by David Fleming and brought on to do additional scoring work for Superman in April 2025; three months before the release. This happens far more often than you think and it’s very normal for a final score to not be completed until a couple weeks before release.

@Kriegler007 For sure. It's interesting watching or reading his interviews as he was very self deprecating about his abilities as an actor, but he had more range than I think even he himself gave credit for.
