@pierre485_ It seems as if the NS2 editions (Not the upgrade packs.) are actually seeing a huge jump in purchasing after the direct, implying that a lot of people are getting a Switch 2 after it. Xenoblade, Zelda, and Pokemon are at the forefront of this trend. Mario too. Any input on this?

@pierre485_ It's insane seeing how badly Microsoft's acquisitions have gone. Even Mojang has been infected by them behind closed doors. At risk of sounding like a shill, it's insane to compare all of Microsoft's acquisitions to Nintendo's very few, with Monolith Soft a frontrunner.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles seems to be performing very well. After almost a week, it has stayed within the top 5, starting at #3 on debut and currently at #5 Upgrade Pack is similarly showing good legs.

@Aghasura2 @blue__jest It’s due to the school uniforms, which likely aren’t staying for the entire game. It’s not like fanservice is required for a good and appealing design anyways, it’s just a way to make up for the lack of a good character.

Personally I dont hate them but when comparing them to the outfits in the previous games its questionable how much safer they are even when compared to 3s which in hindsight was stepping towards this direction

@x3phia Someone made an image piecing together what we’ve seen of the map thats connected and it still seems to not even be close to the full map layout. It’s missing pretty notable landmasses. This game seems huge and the spherical world is incredibly unique too.

Y’all, this game is going to be deceptively large. This screenshot already looked huge, but you can really see the scale when you realize there’s a small VILLAGE on the cliffs in the background. It looked big but I didn’t realize it was THIS big.

@pierre485_ It was obvious Nintendo gave up on the Wii U in 2016, ending production before BOTW. Another Switch 2 take is that I can see 2027 being another 2017. Pokemon and Xenoblade are already confirmed, and 3D Mario is likely to release that year as well.

@QuixoteLC I agree, Switch 2018 was heavily carried by the last quarter with Mario Party, Pokemon and Smash back to back. Of course, Switch 2017 was helped by Nintendo releasing next to nothing on Wii U in 2016 while they had to support Switch in 2024/2025.

Honestly everything Ubisoft's doing is genius. They're reestablishing the 2D side via R1 30th and Origins Enhanced + reestablishing the lore via Retold I'm 100% certain to make the wait for Rayman 4 less agonizing, they'll start remastering R2 and R3; to reestablish his 3D side
