@michellezenner @Honeybadgermom @basedcaliber She's correct. If a truck starts & runs after the battery's charged, it's the battery. If it dies on the road it's generally the alternator although it CAN be the starter-solenoid. That's simple on old Fords. You can get your alternator tested for free at O'riley's or Autozone.

@Honeybadgermom @basedcaliber Eeeks! alternator :( The new fangled alternators have chips & have to be driven regularly at highway speeds in order to charge the battery. This is what I was told when I had to replace my alternator. Sorry for the breakdown. That's not fun.

My computer battery died so I can’t finish my rodeo photos yet. Sigh. The new one arrives in the mail tomorrow. Philomath Frolic rodeo next Friday. Last time I was there I got to take photos of bull fighting from the chutes. It’s one of my favorites!
