@PINNLAND_EMPIRE I really liked OBAA, but I don’t want this to happen either. I love that she’s one of the most important characters, yet she disappears after the first 30 minutes. Explaining what happened to her would take away the sting in the tail of what makes OBAA so unique to me.

A movie based on his life and struggle with Tourette's was nominated. The actor who played him won. The movie was about acceptance for people with the condition. Not having him there would have been a step backwards for the disabilities community. All I can say is watch his movie, and you'll understand.

@ThatChrisGore @AwardsDaily To me this whole situation is organisations wanting to appear supportive and understanding on an issue until they have to be supportive and understanding on an issue. There should be no apology or offence, the broadcast from the start should have acknowledged it.
