If Sibal asked time till 2024, give it at one go, why waste time? #Ayodhya Once again: If we wait for court to give a judgement, we will NEVER construct Ram Mandir. It has to be executive decision.

Are these babus out of their minds? Why has the sword been removed from the uniform? Since when did the sword become a colonial-era vestige? Carrying a sword was an honour. What next? Put lathis in their hands?

Ek kaam karo, apne Generals ko bhi dhoti-kurta pehna do. One of the hallmarks of Napoleon’s cavalry was also how dashing and impeccably turned out its men were. Aesthetics matter! Military uniforms were designed not just for function, but also to inspire pride, prestige and esprit de corps. They were visually striking for a reason. But trust a banana republic to dehatify even the last vestiges of aesthetics in this country. Is there a single institution that can be left untouched?

🇮🇳 Breaking from Colonial Legacy, Indian Army Embraces Indian Identity. 📍The Indian Army has unveiled a new dress policy aimed at phasing out several colonial era traditions and symbols. 📍Senior officers will wear Indian-style bandi jackets at official functions, replacing the traditional lounge suit. 📍Reviewing Officers will no longer carry ceremonial swords during parades and inspections. 📍The ceremonial sword presentation tradition at commissioning ceremonies is being discontinued. 📍The "Royal" designation and other British-era references are being gradually removed from military traditions and institutions. 📍Officers have been instructed to avoid unnecessary display of medals, badges and ceremonial accessories during routine functions. 📍Uniformity in dress standards has been introduced across commands to promote a modern and professional appearance. 📍Visible tattoos and body piercings have been restricted in line with the new policy. 📍The Army has prescribed guidelines for hairstyles, grooming and appearance to maintain uniform standards. 📍Colonial customs associated with dress and ceremonial practices are being phased out. 📍The reforms are part of the Army's broader effort to decolonise military traditions and strengthen a distinctly Indian identity. From bandi jackets to the end of ceremonial swords and royal tags, the Indian Army is turning the page on its colonial past and embracing its own traditions.

Even Vizag!!! Even Vizag!!! Yes! A Tiny Little Vizag!!! Telangana CM Revanth Reddy laments that Vizag which is as small as Jubilee Hills and Madhapur is also getting a Metro. During a press conference today, the CM almost grieved for Hyderabad Phase 2 Metro not getting sanctioned by the center. He listed out every city/ state that got Metro sanctions from the center. But when CM Revanth Reddy first came to power & everyone questioned his love for all things BJP and him being absolutely lovestruck with PM Narendra Modi, he said he is maintaining good relations so that Telangana gets all support from the center. So far! CM Revanth Reddy probably holds the record for “most visits of a CM to Delhi”. SEVENTY ONE Times he visited and every time was seen hugging PM Modi. End of the day. What “even” Vizag got, Hyderabad didn’t. Also his strategy of yelling at BJP Minister Kishan Reddy while hugging Narendra Modi isn’t fooling anyone. He is definitely keeping his options open while trying to portray the image of anti-BJP. In these 2.5 years, Telangana got zilch from the center and how many times did Revanth Reddy question PM Narendra Modi? Not even a handful times. The puppy love is almost adorable. PS: The Vizagaite in me felt crushed when he said “even”! Surprisingly others who get agitated otherwise are maintaining a very stoic silence.

Congratulations to Sarvam for raising $300 Million. Reminder that this is 10% of annual cash handouts given in the state of MP alone. India spend 300 times 300 Million dollars in giving cash handouts every year; yet our best shot at frontier had to struggle for funds. Jai Hind

@theWaally2 It's RSS official policy that doing ground work is preferable to thinking. Doesn't matter if that ground work is meaningless even in the immediate term.

Look at the body language, fatty is seating on chair like some zamindar giving brahm gyan to peasants. No actual policy or economic or military discussion. Just vibes and gyanchodi. Indians treat people like him as geniuses becos actual thinking hurts their brains.

A policy affecting 140 crore people; signed at 8PM, announced at a press conference the next morning. No White Paper. No Parliamentary debate. No public consultation. No independent impact study. Just a minister, a pen, and a family business waiting on the other side. Let’s talk about what this “policy” actually is: → Son Nikhil’s company Cian Agro: ₹18Cr → ₹523Cr revenue in one year → Their stock: ₹37 → ₹638. A 2,184% surge; while “the file” was being drafted → Son Sarang: Director at Manas Agro. Also in ethanol. Also quietly booming. Father writes the regulations. Sons hold the equity. And we’re supposed to call this a “national dream.” In any functioning democracy, a minister with direct family financial interests in a sector CANNOT unilaterally regulate that sector. That’s not politics, that’s a constitutional principle. Where is the Lokpal? Where is the Prime Minister? Where is the Parliament? The dream isn’t about ethanol. The dream is about a country where accountability has been fully, quietly, abolished.
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Nagpur, Maharashtra: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari says, “Last night at 8 PM, I signed the file, finalising the regulations to legally authorise the use of 100% ethanol. I am delighted to share that I, along with Hardeep Singh Puri, had the opportunity to launch the 100% ethanol-compatible version of the WagonR—Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling car. Regarding motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp—which accounts for three out of every five motorcycles sold—has launched two flex-fuel models capable of running on 100% ethanol. Following this, companies like Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai will launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Thus, ethanol will serve as a viable alternative to petrol. People used to laugh when I spoke of this dream, and some friends even criticised it...Soon, we will launch a pilot project in Nagpur featuring a hydrogen pump and two hydrogen-powered buses. The public will be able to ride these hydrogen buses, which will be powered by green hydrogen extracted from water using an electrolyser. That day is now near.”

Historically women understood if they wanted to be the wife of a general they needed to either marry a young lieutenant and grow with him, or be willing to marry a 40-50 year old already established general when she herself was 18-25, and come to that established man as a virgin. These days, social media seems to have convinced a lot of women that a 20 year old man should have the accomplishments of a general and if he doesn't, he's a loser, and that she's free to pursue "option three" which is "squander the 20s and into the 30s with meaningless hedonism, and then at 42 marry a 45 year old general who built on his own without you being in his life." Most men don't consider it an honor and privilege to be picked last, and used as a retirement plan, by a woman who gave her best years to other men and never would have picked him 25 years earlier when he was just beginning to build. Most men aren't going to be millionaires in their 30s or multimillionaires in their 40s. Most Americans who become millionaires reach their first million between 45 and 50.
