Jum's spot on. The "every 7 years your whole body replaces itself" thing is a myth. Most cells do turn over (skin in weeks, gut lining in days), but plenty don't: brain neurons in the cerebral cortex, heart muscle cells, and eye lens cells basically last your lifetime with little to no replacement. Some cells never fully renew. Mind-blowing when you dig into it!

@R_Jam17 Thats actually a myth about all our cells replacing themselves every few years. I was shocked when I found out. Some cells never replace themselves.
