A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an indecent exposure investigation at a Fort McMurray daycare, RCMP say. Police were notified of the incident on May 16. The daycare, Kiddos On The Go, confirmed the suspect was an employee and practicum student who is no longer with the facility. Child Care Licensing is investigating alongside RCMP, and charges are pending.

Morinville RCMP have charged a 34-year-old man in Edmonton, Jaswindra Nath, with multiple offences including sexual interference and child luring following an investigation into alleged incidents involving a 15-year-old in Morinville. Police say the complaint came in November and alleges the offences occurred between Sept. 1 and Nov. 14. Investigators say the accused used Snapchat to contact and “lure” the victim, arranged meetings, and transported them from school to his apartment on several occasions. RCMP say Nath is also charged with arranging a sexual offence with a child and obtaining sexual services from a person under 18. He has been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday. Investigators say there may be additional victims and note he used the Snapchat handles “yegnut” and “yegnutn” and the name “Jash.”
