@JackDunc1 Well I’m a Brit and this is bollocks. I visit the States multiple times a year and I haven’t stepped foot in another European country in probably 15 years. I definitely feel more connection to America. And also, Americans don’t give a shit.

A lot of Americans assume that Brits feel more connected to them due to them speaking our language. We don't. Most of us feel a greater cultural connection to our European neighbours. And long may that continue.

@BootsUK the customer service I have received from Boots online/ call centre has been shocking. Your staff don’t listen, or read complaints. It’s incredibly frustrating. Generic responses that are unrelated to specifics in a complaint makes me feel unvalued.

Think we can all agree, if we’re being honest, that while it’s true Labour are in a massive bind - partly of their own making - a Reform government would be spectacularly worse for Britain.

Rachel Reeves is raising taxes faster than any chancellor in 55 years, according to Capital Economics. They expect her to increase taxes by up to £38 billion next month, on top of the additional £41.5 billion she raised last year. This would mean Reeves had raised taxes more after only 17 months in power than any of her predecessors since 1976 did across an entire parliament.

@SorchaEastwood Should we not now start expecting our MPs to have some sort of appropriate qualification and experience? The current quality is just so poor. They are completely out of touch, yet pat themselves on the back. They clearly haven’t been listening.

I voted against leaving the ECHR today. Over the years, many people have only been able to get their rights upheld because of the UK's obligations under ECHR to meeting human rights. We should be proud of our long standing legacy of democracy and freedom. Not to mention the very unique position it holds in terms of Northern Ireland. It's strange how those who seem to shout so loudly about freedom are the first to want to deny the benefits of it to every UK citizen.
