@CatholicDrip___ The Bible contradicts many of their beliefs. Jesus is called the Word. The religious hated the Word in person and still hate the written word.

@DiorrMontana @BillArnoldTeach Every denomination will have their human designed doctrines and traditions. The Catholic Church isn’t the true church. It was just the dominant denomination birthed from mixing Christianity and paganism.

@DiorrMontana @BillArnoldTeach Some of the doctrines are of human origin and traditions. These things hinder the fullness of the gospel. Luther and those that followed used the model of church that they knew. The basic model is used by all denominations.

@DiorrMontana @BillArnoldTeach Constantine united a religion for his empire. I am not arguing that Catholics aren’t saved. Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Virgin birth? Crucified and raised to life? The ascension and His return? Some of the other things are mixed with paganism.

The model is different than the way service was under the apostles. Catholics worship Jesus not Mithras. They honor saints and not the gods in Mithrasism.

@DiorrMontana @BillArnoldTeach I follow Paul, Apollos, Peter, Christ. Is Christ divided? The Catholic Church was established by Constantine. He merged Christianity with Mithras worship. Learning how Mithrasism was practiced, it is apparent that these rituals were applied to the Catholic model.

@JudeThaddeus111 @BillArnoldTeach Sorry for delayed response. I was at Bible study. Ignatius echoes Paul in this statement. Is Christ divided? Christ is the head of His church. Catholic as an adjective and not a proper name is more likely. He (being the head) makes it universal (catholic) church.
