Yep, it's a hassle for us. Certainly use YouTube's platform to drive traffic elsewhere. Honestly, even if you keep uploading to YT, don't let it be your only platform. I made that mistake and am fixing it now. We aren't employees of YT. We work for ourselves. We don't owe them exclusivity. Good luck!

@XStrangeHistory @TeamYouTube Yeah, that happened, and now they deducted all of my income from last month's earnings. I will use YouTube to move my audience and that's about it at this point. If this is how they want to treat us, then I'm out. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this, too. :(

@ReadsRaven @TeamYouTube Welcome to the club. This is how it is now. And don’t be surprised when you get demonetized again after getting monetized again. It’s happening to all of us. Over and over again. There is no off-ramp. But good luck. I hope it works out for you.

This year cannot get worse. I hope. Not only did YouTube demonetize everything but they retroactively deducted everything I made. Even from the channel that was monetized last month. Not even sure if we can keep our home right now. YouTube is so corrupt. How is this legal?

March 26 - Raven's Reading Room demonetized March 26 - Raven Reads demonetized March 28 - appeals submitted March 28 - Raven's Reading room appeal accepted March 30 - Raven Reads appeal denied April 16 - Raven's Reading Room demonetized again YouTube is broken.

Monetized creators: Check your Google AdSense accounts. I logged in yesterday and it was all down. Logged in today, and they have a new system that requires your gov ID to get paid. That new system somehow reset my payment acct to an old one, too, so be sure to check! :)

But now your policy allows you to literally steal from creators? Creators...we deserve better. Something has to be done.

It's one thing to have robots wrongly demonetize us @TeamYouTube - to have your horrible system wrongly flag us and take our income. It's another thing to deny us when we've shown our entire process top to bottom - let's be real, no human is reviewing these appeals.

YouTube not only demonetized my main channel and refused my appeal, but has now stolen 47% of my total income by taking every single penny that channel earned last month, even during the time it was monetized. This is theft. This is unjust. And I am not shutting up.

Demonetized, but taking it as an opportunity to start making the content I've always wanted to. I'm exhausted with the algorithm game anyway. Time to turn lemons into really delicious lemonade. :) youtu.be/i9D8i-C50O4

Yet again, Raven's Reading Room is demonetized. I am so sick and tired of this system.

@BJC1225 @YouTube Literally downloading and reuploading videos, yes, and now they're changing titles and thumbnails but it's still very obviously a direct download from my Raven's Reading Room channel and Be Busta's channel. Originally they weren't even changing thumbnails and titles, so.

@TeamYouTube Yes, I'm aware I can dox myself to the person stealing from me but surely you can do something about it now that you're aware without creators having to expose all of their personal information and identity to the person committing a literal crime against them. :)

Apparently this also includes those who don't click on our videos from the push notifications themselves. And therre appears to be a "we think this subscriber is spam" sub dump going on at the same time. *shrug* So hope that helps if you've been getting weird analytics.

Creators, now might be a good time to encourage our listeners to like/comment. I read that YouTube is testing a new feature nobody asked for that mutes push notifications for people who aren't "recently engaged", meaning liked or commented. If you've been seeing low views/subs...
