I’m European. Apparently my life is bad. In reality, I have: Vaccines. Clean tap water. Public transport. Enforceable rights. Food safety as a baseline. Healthcare that doesn’t lead to bankruptcy. And I don’t need to carry a concealed weapon to walk my dogs.

Putting Streeting and Milburn in charge of the NHS is a clear indication by @UKLabour that the private sector is being enabled to pick off all the elements of you healthcare that they can convert into profit. It gives a whole new meaning to a party on the 'side of business'.

Let's be honest. Working a stressful job for low pay is far more likely to be a cause of poor mental health than a cure. Rather than cutting benefits, let's make employers improve working conditions and pay people properly..... and we could even them them pay their taxes!
