An encouraging start to our U17 NT’s UNAF campaign. There’s a lot of talent in this squad, led by coach Pereira 🇵🇹. It’s also great to see familiar faces like Rabbaj, Ibn Salah, El Aoud and Soud. Hopefully, they can match and even surpass the achievements of the previous group.

It’s more disheartening considering the progress made this season in infrastructure, production quality, social media presence and level of football on display. It feels like the league is moving in the right direction, but LNFP are undermining that momentum and holding it back.

Fact-check: Did Morocco walk off at the 1976 AFCON final? Some outlets/journalists are claiming so, but @TanouDiallo18 spoke to Ismael Sylla who played in that match and he recalls no such thing. Other primary sources make no mention of it… probably a social media fabrication

I’ve witnessed my country reach a senior World Cup semifinal, win an Olympics medal, win the U20 World Cup and now win the AFCON for the 2nd time in history. At this point, there’s no desire left in me to debate with anyone. Ive seen and experienced it all with 🇲🇦 football.
