The left is feigning outrage because Trump had UFC at the White House and is extravagantly celebrating America's 250th birthday. "Trump has degraded the White House!" What's worse, having public, patriotic displays to celebrate our country or regularly turning the White House into a private nightclub for celebrities and elites? During his Presidency Obama would regularly throw late night parties at the White House. These were exclusive, private parties for celebrities, rappers, musicians, actors, and other elites who supported Obama. Details of which were all kept hidden from the public. Obama said that he didn't need to share the details of these parties because he was picking up the tab for the food, alcohol, entertainment, and whatever else they were doing. Press wasn't allowed. No photos were allowed of guests entering or leaving. No guest lists. Just a bunch of celebrities regularly partying in private until 4:00AM at the People's House. Usher and Jay-Z were regulars. Snoop Dogg said he smoked weed at The White House. Jon Legend and his wife joked about having sex at The White House. Apparently that's not degradation of the White House but public celebrations of patriotism are.

@alecsime Yea, if you do not have any help in Tennessee to help you unload I would probably go with the movers. Driving one of those trucks across country in tow is not an easy trip unless you have experience in that.

@ReghostroWes That’s good insight even with your move only being 3 hours away I think having movers load and unload is necessary my wife’s going to have my son and I’d be on my own once we get there to unload which won’t work for big items

November is closer than it feels. Two cars, a soon to be 15 month old, an 11.5 year old lab and everything we own currently in our 2 bedroom townhouse. Connecticut to Tennessee. Been selling everything we don't need and trying to figure out the most affordable way to move a life 1,000 miles. Pods vs movers vs renting a truck. Two cars to drive down or tow one. A toddler and a senior dog in the mix. Anyone done a long distance move like this? What do you wish you knew before you did it?

The decision itself won’t move markets. The DOT PLOT will. The PRESS CONFERENCE will. One sentence. One word. One shift in tone. That’s all it takes. 3/ Here’s the math: If Warsh signals even a HINT of dovishness Wednesday: → Rate cut expectations for 2027 get repriced → Dollar weakens → Risk assets surge → ETF inflows accelerate → Crowded shorts get squeezed → Bitcoin goes from $66K to $72K+ in days The short interest built up during this crash is the fuel.
