Survivors of #sextortion in #Wisconsin will soon have more access to justice with Senate passage of AB 923! This bill creates a civil cause for sextortion survivors, giving them a vehicle for justice other than a criminal trial, as well as making it easier to bring civil claims without sharing their information publicly.

Last Week Friday, Governor Evers signed my bill to clarify when an expert witness can give testimony! This is the 6th bill I have successfully brought across the finish line. I look forward to continuing to deliver victories for the people of Wisconsin and the 87th District!

Yesterday, I met with members of the Central Wisconsin Board of Realtors to discuss the housing challenges our state is facing, and what we can do to help. Thank you to everyone who made the trip to the Capitol!

The rules and regulations that govern our daily lives should be decided by your elected representatives, not unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats. Last week, I testified on AJR 133 and AB 955, my bills to restore checks and balances to our out of control state agencies!

Yesterday in the Transportation Committee, we voted unanimously to pass my bill to increase weight limits for vehicles transporting grain, feed, or commercial fertilizer on certain roads. This will help our farmers save money and move products more efficiently!

Happy National School Choice Week! Wisconsin families deserve access to the right fit for their child's education. Whether that's a public, private, or charter school, or even homeschooling, school choice ensures parents can find the approach that works best for their kids!

Today, we commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. May we never forget this horrific crime and the millions of human lives lost.

This morning, I met with several high school students from the 87th Assembly District to talk about @WisconsinFCCLA! I enjoyed talking with these driven young women about their goals, and I look forward to seeing them accomplish great things!

Today was Ag Day at the Capitol! I was glad that I could get the chance to talk to Don, a farmer from the 87th Assembly District. Thank you to everyone from @WIFarmBureau who braved the weather to come to the Capitol to talk to us about the issues facing our farmers!

Bradyn's Law is a tremendous victory for protecting our kids from online predators. However, there is still work to do to fight sextortion in Wisconsin. This morning, I introduced legislation to allow the victims of sextortion to sue for damages!

While federal taxes on tips and overtime have been eliminated, hard-working Wisconsinites are still seeing their paychecks reduced by state taxes. Today, I will be voting on the Assembly Floor to change that!

Many Wisconsinites have expressed concerns with how data centers might impact their electricity rates or our beautiful natural environment. Today, my colleagues and I announced legislation to ensure Wisconsin land, water, and energy rates are protected!

Like many of you, I was appalled by what I read in The Cap Times' expose on grooming in schools last October. This week in the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Committee, I voted to pass a bill to officially define grooming and establish it as a crime!
