@O_Scase @OurCofELike A quarter at St Margaret’s Westminster on New Year’s Eve and then one af Westminster Abbey on New Year’s Day was a pretty memorable occasion. Ringing has taken me to some lovely places I might not otherwise have visited

@RichardTurk13 @OurCofELike Great! Hope you get them! I’ve done only a couple of quarter peals in my past, but most notably one on Lundy Island! Has bell ringing taken you anywhere interesting or were there any towers that have stood out to you?

@OurCofELike Amazing! Since moving to Sweden I’ve missed the prospect of bell ringing… I reached a standard of managing call changes and plain bob before taking a break from it… but now I can’t ring I miss it!

@Waterstones I understand. But given the point of preordering was that the book would be delivered when it was released, and therefore in time for a birthday present, it’s disappointing that it hasn’t arrived and could have been bought in a variety of stores in person.

@RichardTurk13 Hi Richard, we're not the customer support team here and can't look at individual orders but some preorders have been delayed by the knock-on effects of a change to our warehouse systems. We're working as hard as we can to get them out as soon as possible.

@Waterstones we’re 11 days after the release date of a preorder. Shouldn’t the order have been dispatched by now, given that the book shows as in stock?

Coming to the end of a pre-ordination retreat and bringing my luggage out of the hotel, I find myself thinking that, even wearing clerical wear, I’d really stand out with one of the @richardosman wheelie luggages.

Today’s first jubilee event for me: a peal attempt at Dereham. Apologies to any of the good folk of Dereham hoping for a quiet start or a lie in @thebishopoflynn
