Jamie Carragher going after Mo Salah is on a par with the fly going after the spider. Kids all over the world grow up wanting to be like Salah. None of them want to be Carragher. In footballing terms, Carragher was a basement level defender whose first touch was that bad his second touch was a tackle. Give him a microphone and he thinks he's Aristotle.

One point that is correct regarding Salah is that the country's media has never recognised his qualities and has prayed for his downfall.
If Cole Palmer scores one goal, he is heralded as a genius.
If Grealish scores a goal “hes back to his best”.
Salah had an all-time Premier League season, and the media brushed it off as nothing special. It was even more telling during the Balon Dor conversations when the UK press went as far as to belittle the entire Premier League by suggesting last season's achievements were not as good as a player from Ligue 1.

@PartedBeard Actually it’s literally the very definition of selfishness, whether you agree with it or not. If you’re accepting this type of behaviour (which goes completely against the Liverpool Way, as any sensible fan knows) at least have the guts to admit it’s selfish on Salah’s part.

These online dweebs are everything that’s wrong with a big section of our fanbase. Quote Shankly/Klopp/Dalglish when it suits them (club/team always comes first, respect your team mates, especially in public). They’d be fuming at Salah’s behaviour.

The amount of comments on my posts saying Salah is wrong and should get a grip. Are you lot mad? These fans are exactly what’s wrong with the football club. Also the reason FSG could get away with so much in the 2015-2024 period. Worst fans, the lot of them.
