@thisisanfield @davidlynchlfc Slot took Klopp’s high fitness base, eased workloads, managed fatigue and protected output. Early returns were superb, perfect almost, we blew the PL and UCL away, but come Mar25 intensity had dropped, fitness levels had declined, it’s been impossible to recover those ever since.

Some defend Slot and new players by scapegoating Salah. Isak is not even in good position in that pic. Mo “the striker” has most xA, assists, chances created, big chances created since joining Liverpool. Mo last 3 games = 1 shot per game This season:

Watching highlights and scenarios like this is why Isak scored goals galore for Newcastle alongside the likes of Jacob Murphy. Their first thought is to play Isak in, Salah's thoughts are to play a 1-2 with Dom to try and get a shot off Bearing in mind, Isak busted a gut to get in that position, and Salah is more than capable of bending that into his feet. Next season, we need wide players who want to find our striker, instead of being the striker 😂
