Over Jump Rally is a Sega Rally tribute, remade entirely in @UnrealEngine5, and we are hoping to become an official remake one day. A first game by Alessandro Schiassi Sound Effects by @pshelleyaudio "Silverstream" theme composed by @neoteaika This gameplay video shows the final visuals and the brand-new sound effects using @audiokinetic's Wwise and REV2! The car handling is also final, but I usually don't drive using the hood camera, so there are some crashes here and there, which I wanted to keep in the video to show the physics (and SFX) in action. The video was recorded in Ultra settings at native 1440p on an RTX 4090 and i9-13900k, clocking around 90fps. The performances are quite scalable, especially on lower resolutions and using TSR upscale technology. DLSS and FSR will also be added. The lighting is all done in Lumen Software, and almost every mesh is Nanite (except for translucent surfaces). Fun fact: there are 2 Billion polygons in the entire map! Chaos Vehicle is used for car's physics. FAQs: 1) Yes, a console port is planned, but only for current-gen consoles (PS5, XBSX/S). 2) No Steam Deck compatibility, as its hardware is not powerful enough. It should work fine on ROG Ally and Legion Go. 3) Yes to wheel support (and FFB); it's coming! 4) No, I don't have a date for the upcoming demo release, but you can see it's in good shape (still missing VFX and game logic, but graphics and handling are 100% done. I didn't say I've been working on car games for 10 years. I said I've been a 3D designer for 10 years. I worked on a car buying and selling game for 3 years. It sold nearly a million copies on PC and has been downloaded 50 million times on mobile. After leaving that, I improved myself and focused on my own project. Don't distort what I said. Everything in the video is real and ready to be played. I will of course share a gameplay video soon.

The AIs have a brain that controls them. They have a classic waypoint system they follow. They have vehicle recognition systems and they look for the right time to overtake the vehicles in front, sometimes even fighting. In addition, there's the Lookup Table and Unity's machine learning system. Sometimes I let the AIs do 3-5 laps on their own and record it, then I analyze it with Python to improve the AI's decision-making mechanism. However, this process is the most tiring and challenging of all the processes. At a suitable time, I will leave the AIs on their own for hours to learn. In my opinion, they still have work to do. I use Unity's own physics engine. The player vehicles, on the other hand, have a customized, advanced driving system. It has a physics calculation of 120 Hertz per second.

Today I introduced my game, which I've been working on and putting a lot of effort into for almost a year. There's still a long time until release, and many things can change. I know how much effort I've put in. What you're doing isn't right. I'm working on the software infrastructure. Many of the vehicles will change. If it's so easy, why don't I just add hundreds of vehicles and tracks? Wouldn't that be better for me? Tomorrow, when I make an FPS game and give my character an AK47, will you say, "Was this weapon taken from COD?" LOL.

You can go to 3D model websites and find and buy any model you want, am I wrong? If it's as easy as you say, why can't I add 100-200 vehicles? If it's so easy, just download Unity, add the models, and press Play. Everything else will happen automatically. Also, you've raised doubts about me having just created this account. I've been working on the project for almost a year. I've just started promoting it, and you're saying I just created my X account. Don't be ridiculous.

Hahahah :D Not copied from AC. While some assets were adapted from open source/reference sources, others were modeled entirely by me. I've been a professional 3D artist for 10 years 😄 You've spoken without thinking in a world where it's so easy to make, find, and buy the AE86. lol.

I'm a professional 3D designer with 10 years of experience. I also worked on car games at my previous company. The main part of my work is on the software and shader side. I found some of my assets from open sources, heavily edited them, and integrated them into my game. What I couldn't find, I created myself. I have over 400 GB of textures and models alone – years of accumulated work. Also, the numbers mentioned in the promotional material are the numbers I promised for the game's release. To achieve this, I'm working 16 hours a day. I'm in Monk mode.
