Cleaner air is coming to the Bronx! We've used congestion pricing funds to replace 20 diesel powered food refrigeration units at Hunts Point Market with clean energy alternatives. This small change is the equivalent of removing 6,600 truck trips from the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Thanks to #CongestionPricing funds, new equipment in the South Bronx will cut pollution equal to emissions of 6,000 trucks/day. Neighborhoods w/ the country's highest asthma rates & across the state deserve policies that address air quality issues paired with smart solutions.

The only sane thing to do: The French government will prepare a plan to electrify key sectors of the economy to reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels, suggesting the measures could be funded from increased corporate tax revenue from fossil fuel companies.
